Even though we’ve had shelter in place for the last few months, the work didn’t stop. Commissioner Hall and her team have been boots to the ground ensuring that the people of District 4 were able to get what they needed during these critical times. With the Primary Election held on Tuesday, June 9th, it’s important that everyone goes out and vote. Be patient and be prepared, as social distancing will be implemented while standing in line.

A Conversation with Kipper Jones
I was honored to spend some time with this talented artist and musician as Real Chicks Rock!™ Presents Real Discussions had a conversation with Kipper Jones.
Kipper has been playing and singing in a band since he was 13 years old with Gospel music being his foundation. He was always one to sign up for contests, that he either won or met people that saw his talent and wanted to help him get to the next level.
He had a unique opportunity to meet writers that worked for Motown. They showed him how to hone in on his skills and learn more about the music business. Kipper has written songs for some phenomenal people in the music industry - Vanessa Williams, Kenny Lattimore, Silk, Brandy whose song ‘I Wanna Be Down’ Celebrated its 25th Anniversary - Sept. 6, 2019, and the list goes on.
What does Kipper like the most? Is it singing or writing? Well, it's being on stage where he can connect with the music, lyrics, and audience all at once. Born in California, he lived in a few places in between but calls Atlanta his home.
Kipper is far from being done as he's learning more and growing in the ever-changing music industry. Kipper is simply excited about it all.

Fighting Addictions
Are You Ready To Factory Reset Your Life?
Sometimes, when you have a problem with your cell phone, you’ll be instructed to factory reset it. Which means it will bring it back to its original platform and allow you a new start.
On this episode with the topic of Fighting Addictions. We had dialogue with two professionals - Nathalie Ellis and Cherice Pinkston, of Esteem Counseling Services who have worked with people trying to overcome addictions.
These ladies provided information from the different types of addictions, to what are the signs, how to get help and how to deal with someone dealing with an addiction. None of this is easy to do, therefore, we have to learn how/when to provide empathy and hold people accountable throughout their life changing process.

Conversation with Commissioner Natalie Hall
Fulton County’s District 4 is ON POINT!
Commissioner Natalie Hall was my guest on Real Chicks Rock! Presents Real Discussions and she was very informative about all the things she has on her plate.
Filled with passion and purpose, Commissioner Hall has picked up the mantle from her predecessor the late Commissioner Joan P Garner and shows no signs of stopping or slowing down. With several programs in place, that help high school students to senior citizens as well as health and homeless programs are all in motion.
Keep your eyes on District 4 (spanning from Old 4th Ward to Fulton Industrial) as there will be changes that involve and include the people that live there. Commissioner Hall is the right person for that District as she continues to have a heart for the people and their communities. Thanks to Commissioner Natalie Hall and her wonderful staff for allowing the conversation to happen.

Meli'sa Morgan, the singer, songwriter, and actress came and shared her stories, experiences and her truth. It all made sense as to why she’s so talented, touring and continues to make music.
She’s a Queens, NY girl that has seen many parts of the world as her fans help her sing the songs, especially the Prince hit “Do Me Baby”. She’s been blessed to sing with so many artists that it’s too many to mention them all.
