Sistahs In Business Expo ATL

Sistahs In Business - ATL Is Where It’s At

Providing a marketplace filled with black-owned businesses is one thing, and when it‘s all women-owned businesses, that is something else.

Arriving there early allowed me to see all the behind-the-scenes setup. There was a focused busyness in the area. People were clear on what needed to get done to accommodate all the vendors, guests, and speakers.

🔅 The Vendors ~ Beautiful, friendly, and had a story of their own.

✨Authors

✨Designers

✨ Marketers

✨ Business Coaches

✨Social Media Specialist

And this is just t to name a few.

The concept of having a prominent marketplace for people to shop, meet and greet is excellent. So many business cards were being exchanged and purchasing from one another within the room.

🔅 The Location ~ A very nice that provided everyone the space needed to move around, showcase products and services, and meet when needed.

🔅 The Speakers - Powerful and informative people within their own right. Transparent about what they struggled with and how they pushed through it. Incredible drive, determination, and confidence. The speakers transformed the hearts and thoughts of so many people in the room each time they spoke. People were taking notes, recording, and taking pictures of it all. Bevy Smith, Yandy Smith-Harris, and Quad Webb all clarified why and how they’ve become successful businesswomen.

The keys are:

✨ To believe in yourself

✨ Don’t quit even when you hear the word no

✨ Being vulnerable is a strength

✨ Being humble is not a weakness

✨ Know your worth and charge for it

Panel discussion about owning your brand, protecting your brand, and marketing your brand was constructive. Beautiful and talented moderator and host Tyisha Fernandes from WSB was as sweet and supportive as they come (Congratulations - wink, wink 😉).

As for the creator and founder of Sistahs in Business Expo, Aisha Taylor Issah has a team and support of her family that has allowed her to executive well each time. What a concept. What a vision. What a team. What a day!

Don’t let this come to your city, and you don’t go, and you don’t go and check it out. You are guaranteed to walk with something, and as an entrepreneur, good help, ideas, and/ suggestions are priceless.

Check out Sistahs in Business on social media and the website. The next stop is Newark, NJ, in October. Meet them there if you can. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Until next time, take care and continue to #ROCKon
